On social media, Ghanaian content producer Kwadwo Sheldon and Reggae and Dancehall artist Michael Okine, also known as Jupiter General in the entertainment industry, are at odds.
Jupitar General, a multi-award-winning reggae and dancehall performer, and well-known content creator and Youtuber Kwadwo Sheldon have exchanged insults on social media.
Their argument began after the reggae and dancehall singer posted a statement claiming that the Ghanaian media has been picky in how it portrays artistes.
He spoke when Joy Prime shared a piece of art by the Ghanaian reggae and dancehall performer Stonebwoy, who is billed to perform in Jamaica.
The Ghanaian music industry was then labelled as fake and he accused them of being hypocrites.
He persisted in posting about how the Ghanaian media remained silent when he was billed to play on December 26 at the String Event in Jamaica the year before.
Was the first Ghanaian artist to ever grace this stage and the media was mute about it, I remember last year I had an event and
and some foolish boy made some foolish statements and yet they refused to acknowledge all the great achievements… God go punish you ppl
A remark from Ghanaian YoUTuber Kwadwo Sheldon’s post, “The Media houses and personalities are exhausted,” was retweeted along with the post.
Jupiter General questioned whether he had previously supported his works in response to his post.
My guy, have you ever supported my works before ???
Kwadwo Sheldon replied his question that, he don*t owe him any support.
Wait you think I owe you support? Lmao alright Dey play
He then advised Kwadwo Sheldon to avoid him with his disrespectful lifestyle because he owed him no support.
