Our camp received the sad news this afternoon that a woman has hanged herself and her child in an unfinished structure at the Adwin Amba Ntem Adwoa subdivision in Sekodi-Takoradi.

At Adwoa, a mother who had one child hanged herself together with the youngster.
After a thorough search by the local, information acquired by Kofi Annan Gh indicates that the deceased is not from the town.
The deceased reportedly arrived in the neighbourhood at 1pm with her young son who was munching corn. Residents who saw her about attempted to chat with her, but she remained silent.
The locals attempted to speak with her to find out why she had visited their town, but she was unable to do so because she did not know how to speak Fante or Twi.
The lady is believed to be a GA, and despite being questioned repeatedly, she refused to reveal her place she is from, according to the people of Adwin Amba Ntem.
The lady is believed to be in her early 20.
