Wode Maya, a Ghanaian YouTuber whose real name is Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon, has selected his top three favorite Ghanaian artists whose music he listens to on a regular basis.
In an interview with Nana Quasi-Wusu on YFM (Takoradi), the well-known listed his top Ghanaian artistes, saying that he enjoys listening to their music.
He mentioned fante rap deity Kofi Kinaata, multi-award-winning dancehall musician Shatta Wale, and rising hip hop star Mohammed Ismail Sherif, aka Black Sherif.

Martin King Arthur was placed first, according to him due to his songwriting prowess. Kofi Kinaata has received numerous honors for his songwriting abilities.
Because of his songwriting abilities, Wode Maya put the ‘Thy Grace’ hitmaker on top. Kofi Kinaata is now known for his ability to create uplifting songs for his fans.
He also stated that Black Sherif is his favorite artist, and that he enjoys listening to his music. He mentioned that he is working on a documentary about black sheriff cooking and is excited to share it with the world.
