In court, the husband of Osinachi Nwachuku, a deceased Nigerian gospel singer, pleaded for forgiveness for his wife’s death. 

On Friday, April 8, 2022, Osinachi, the composer of the popular gospel hymn “Ekueme,” died in a hospital in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
