Recently, a Nigerian Muslim man took to Twitter to share his joy over learning that his 16-year-old bride had kept her virginity.

After allegedly deflowering his minor bride, the man, going by the handle @KingNestle, posted a picture of a bloody bedsheet and professed extreme satisfaction.
In addition, he revealed that he and his wife have been together since 2019, when she was just 12 years old.
“Allahu Akbar my 16 year old wife was a virgin. May Allah make our marriage last a lifetime,” he captioned the post.

The tweet has elicited mixed reactions on social media, with some men, specifically Muslims, praising him for deflowering his wife, while others slammed him for marrying a minor.
