Seyram Adablah, a former employee of First Atlantic Bank, is suing the bank and the bank’s Chief Finance Officer, Ernest Kwasi Nimako, after their alleged s£xual relationship went south.

The Plaintiff who instigated a lawsuit at the Accra High Court claimed although the relationship persisted for many months, Nimako failed to honour the terms of their relationship.

YEN.com.gh reports that Adablah in her lawsuit alleges that during her National Service days at the bank, her boss, Ernest Kwasi Nimako, made many s£xual advances at her which she eventually gave into.

“Plaintiff avers that, the relationship started as a result of a persistent s£xual hara§§ment and ab¥se by the 1st Defendant [Nimako], a superior officer who wielded a lot of power which the plaintiff finally gave in without which she would have found working in the 2nd Defendant [bank] office a nightm@re,” she alleges.

According to Adablah, when she started working at the Ridge West office of First Atlantic Bank, she observed persistent s£xual hara§ment by senior male officers against female workers of the bank.

“And if you failed to give in to their demands, your life in the bank is made unhappy, uncomfortable and unfriendly to work in.

They also use we the female staff to make advances to very rich customers with a view to sl££ping with them and getting them to open accounts with the bank to the detriments of the female staffs,” she said.

Deborah blamed the bank for looking on while these happened and deliberately failed to take measures to end them.
