Over the years, Ghanaian artistes have been constantly blaming the media for the fall of the creative art industry and channeling foreign content in our media space. Amg Armani was in Takoradi recently.

Ghanaian artistes have been blaming the Radio Stations, Television Stations and other reputable blogs for contributing to the collapse of the creative art industry and letting Nigerians or other foreign contents to dominate in our media space here in Ghana.

When you tune in to a particular radio station or Television station, Nigerian songs or foreign songs keep on dominating on our airwaves. When you also visit our nightclubs, Nigerian songs or foreign songs keep on dominating Djs playlist. Artistes always put the blame on the media for influencing the penetration of foreign contents in the country.

It seems Amg Armani is not siding with his fellow colleagues for shifting the blame on the media on why Nigerian songs or other foreign songs keep on dominating in our media space.

Godfred Osei Amoako, who is known by the stage name Amg Armani has shared his experiences and what he has witnessed in the industry after being in the music scene for good five years.

Speaking in a latest interview with Nana Kwame (The Master planner) on Skyy power Fm on award-winning show OC showbiz Review, the hitmaker for ‘Maabena’ song said the media should not be blame for the penetration of Nigerian songs or Foreign content on our airwaves and nightclubs.

Amg Armani who was currently in the news for dating social media sensation Rosemond Brown also known as Akuapem Poloo applauded the media for tremendously promoting Ghanaian artistes.

He continued to explain that, the media is doing their possible best to promote Ghanaian artistes and it is also left to the artistes to also do their underground promotions by going outside the shores to promote their works over there.

According to him, these Nigerian artistes such as Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Joeboy and many more just come to Ghana to promote their works here to win the heart of the media and the audience.

Amg is currently out with a brand new single dubbed “Lowkey”.
