Breaking News: Akuapem Poloo Has Been Ordered By Court To Serve 90 – Day Jail Term As Her Appeal Was Dismissed

Ghanaian sensational Actress and social media influencer, Akuapem Poloo has been now ordered by court to serve her 3 months jail sentence as her appeal has been dismissed.

Akuapem Poloo is one of the best actresses Ghana has seen, she has been featured in so many movies in Ghana and beyond. Her real name is Rosemond Brown and a mother of one, she has popped up in the news today because of her court case and it’s outcome.

It can be recall that Akuapem Poloo or Rosemond Brown was sentenced to jail or make to serve a 90 days jail sentence after she was arrested for posting a photo with her own child which goes against the law. Rosemond Brown appeared in court and was charged with “obscene material and domestic violence” by the Accra Circuit court.

The Lawyer of Akuapem Poloo who is also known as Rosemond Brown’s lawyer made a full file of appeal to the court to challenge Akuapem Poloo’s 90-day jail term verdict of the court.

From the information we have at Kofiannangh.net, Justice Ruby Aryeetey who presided over the case at the Criminal Division of the court upheld with the Circuit court’s decision on the 90 days jail term of the Ghanaian celebrity. In the final verdict of the appeal Justice Aryee made it known that the appeal with not stand or have any influence on their previous verdit.

“This court will not interfere and the appeal is therefore dismissed,” Justice Aryee said.

Akuapem Poloo wasn’t present at the court as the appeal was rejected, Rosemond Brown’s child in this case should be given to any competent person in the family to take care of.

The High Court in Accra presided over by Justice Aryeetey has dismissed the appeal filed by Akuapem Poloo challenging her 90 days custodial sentence. What this means is that, Akuapem Poloo will now serve her 90 days jail terms imposed on her by the Circuit Court.
