29-Year-Old Lady Lands In Police Custody For Ste@ling A 3-Year-Old Child

A 29-year-old woman, identified as Chinwendu Umegbaka, has been arrested by operatives of the Anambra State police command for allegedly ste@ling a three-year-old child.

According to a statement by the spokesperson of the command, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, the suspect was arrested on Saturday at about 4.30pm, at Nwawulu Street, Okpoko, Ogbaru Local Government Area of the state.

Ikenga noted that preliminary information revealed that the suspect is a neighbour to the parents of the child, adding that Chinwendu when arrested, initially denied knowledge of the whereabouts of the three-year-old girl.
