Ghana’s strategic location has made it a key transit point for illegal drug trafficking to Europe and the United States, prompting authorities to heighten surveillance efforts at the country’s ports.

Additionally, there should be increased focus on preventive measures and public awareness campaigns to deter individuals from getting involved in drug trafficking in the first place.
