The burial ceremony for Imoro Sherrif , a 21-year-old soldier who was reportedly killed in Ashaiman, has taken place at the Burma Camp Military cemetery.

The morning was charged with emotions as the military officers, unable to conceal their humanity, bid their 21-year-old comrade Imoro Sherrif a final farewell walk.

After undergoing certain Islamic rites, the body was readied for interment at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra. The National Chief Imam, Sheik Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, offered prayers for Sherif Imoro’s soul.
Sherif Imoro, a trumpeter serving with the Ghana Armed Forces Band stationed in Sunyani, located in the Bono Region, was reportedly murdered by a mob at Ashaiman Taifa last Saturday.

Unfortunately, Friday, March 4, 2023 would have marked Sherif Imoro’s third journey home, but it was never meant to be as he fell victim to a gang and was tragically killed. He has since been laid to rest at the Burma Camp cemetery.
