The reigning Artiste Of The Year for Western Music Awards Navah has disclosed how he nearly turned down Martin King Arthur, known in the showbiz space as Kofi Kinaata’s invite to perform at Made In Taadi Concert.

Made In Taadi is a concert which is organized by multiple award-winning highlife artiste Kofi Kinaata yearly in the twin city.

The 4th Edition of the Made In Taadi concert was held on Friday December 24, 2021 at the Takoradi Technical Park (TTU).

The people from the Western part of Ghana saw great musicians who wowed over 25,000 audiences with adorable musical performances.

France-based Ghanaian gospel artiste who goes by the name Nwolley A. Vallet Hubert, known in the showbiz space as Navah has divulged on how he almost turned down Kofi Kinaata’s invite.

Having a conversation on Yfm (Takoradi) on ‘Y Entertainment Podium’ with award-winning presenter Macall Mensah, Navah made it clear that, Gospel artistes do not just jump on opportunities that’s why he almost turned his invitation down.

As Ghanaian community criticize or lambaste gospel artistes who associate themselves with the secular artistes. There have been several cases where our gospel artistes are berated for being on stage or collaborating with a secular artiste.

Their reason is that, as a Christian or a gospel musician you are the light ans as the Lord says Light and darkness do not have to mingle, so he nearly turned down his invite.

According to Navah, He gave the invite a second thought and decided to show up to the event to honour his bosom friend Kofi Kinaata and it is a privilege for him to share the same stage with Kofi Kinaata.

Navah again added that, after giving his invite a second thought, he felt that he is not going to represent his brand but rather Jesus brand as the scripture says, ‘Where there is light, darkness cannot prevail’.

Lastly, he honored his fellow musician invite to perform at the Made In Taadi Concert because in order to sell his brand or get Jesus message across he needs to use that medium.
