There Are Cartels And Clans In Western Gospel Fraternity – Navah

Renowned Ghanaian gospel musician Navah has called out for unity among Western Region gospel musician in order to promote and push their brand and project to the brim.

The Western Region entertainment fraternity has set an agenda in order to promote and push their local based artistes both the secular and the gospel artistes to get a national recognition by the end of the year 2022.

A post which was making waves on the internet calls out Western Gospel artistes to come together to host or have a big gospel concert. The post quarries if it can be possible or there is no unity among the artistes.

This post has generated a lot of conversations with in the gospel artistes in the region and the media waves,

Gospel artiste EL Manuel who hails from the Western part of Ghana passed a comment on how he want to organize his colleagues to come together to have a Gospel Event for the region but to no avail.

Reacting to this call, the current reigning ‘Artiste Of The Year’ for Western Music Award 2021, Navah believes that, there is the existence of cartels and clan in the gospel fraternity.

In an interview on Empire Fm with entertainment host Hertilicious, Navah spoke about how he sees unity in the gospel fraternity.

He Said

‘Just like any other organisation, there are alliance here and there that is how it works and i think that is what is eating up so it looks like there are clans or cartels or whichever word you want to use’.

‘there are smaller groups in the bigger group and so when a gospel musician want his fellow artiste for an event or for a collaboration he or she knows who he or she is going to work with’. He added
